The Hong Kong Obesity Society (HKOS) successfully concluded its 7th Annual Scientific Symposium on 22 November 2025. The half‑day event brought together leading international and regional experts to explore cutting‑edge approaches in obesity care – moving beyond conventional paradigms to embrace evidence‑based, patient‑centred strategies.

Programme Highlights

The symposium opened with remarks by Dr. Chan Man Pan, followed by four scientific sessions covering pharmacotherapy, guideline‑based diagnosis, endoscopic interventions, and the role of the microbiome in childhood obesity. A tea break allowed for lively networking among attendees. Dr. See Wing Shan delivered the closing remarks, summarising key takeaways and future directions.
