香港肥胖學會11月22日活動精彩回顧!

2025年11月22日，香港肥胖學會成功舉辦了兩場精彩絕倫的活動，從多角度深入探討肥胖治理，讓我們一起回顧！

上午活動：「中西減重面面觀」公眾講座
在會長陳文彬醫生的引領下，這場講座結合了傳統智慧與現代醫學：

• 賴文龍牙醫 為我們解密了口腔健康（牙周炎）與肥胖之間常被忽視的聯繫，讓大家對健康有新的認識。
• 黃韻婷中醫師 以循證中醫的方式，分享了如何通過多學科合作來治理肥胖及慢性病，提供了實用的見解。
• 蘇賽君醫生 則帶我們走進西醫輔助減重的科學之旅，揭示最新的研究成果。

特別環節：兒童填色比賽頒獎典禮
溫馨感人的頒獎時刻，我們表彰了在兒童填色比賽中脫穎而出的年輕藝術家，並在家庭中推廣健康及體重管理意識！

活動由候任會長施頴珊醫生致閉幕辭，為活動畫上完美句號。

下午活動：第七屆科學研討會

PM Session: The 7th Annual Scientific Symposium on "Obesity Care Beyond Convention - From Definition to Treatment

The 7th Annual Scientific Symposium, titled " Obesity Care Beyond Convention - From Definition to Treatment" was a remarkable display of innovation and expertise! Together, we delved into the cutting-edge frontiers of obesity medicine, redefining diagnoses and unveiling groundbreaking treatments.

A heartfelt thank you to our outstanding lineup of international and local experts who led the charge:

Prof. Sue Pedersen illuminated the transformative holistic health benefits of GLP-1 Receptor Agonists, showcasing that true wellness extends far beyond weight loss.

Prof. Gary Wittert encouraged us to think Beyond BMI, presenting advanced strategies for precisely diagnosing and addressing excess adiposity.

Dr. Liu Chia Chia, Amy introduced the minimally invasive revolution of Endoscopic Gastroplasty, bridging the gap between medical and surgical interventions.

Prof. Hein Min TUN led us on an enlightening journey into the gut microbiome, revealing its critical role in childhood obesity.
